Kolkata (PTI): All regional rural bank employees association has invited for a country wide strike on August 20 to protest against outsourcing and contractual labour, among other things.

The association would be joining the Committee of Central Trade Unions and Federal Bodies of Bank, Insurance, government employees, railways etc to raise their demands.

Their demands add effective materialization of existing labor laws, increasing food prices and inflation, social security for all the organized and unorganized sector, it said in a release.

The association said it aids all the demands raised in the National Convention of the Sponsoring Committee.
